How much walking for a 15 week old cockapoo puppy per day?

What did the breeder suggest?

I don’t like that breed mix so haven’t got advice specifically for that one but the general advice for most breeds of puppies is five minutes x month age.

So 25 minutes/half an hour should be sufficient.

or preferably two fifteen minute walks to socialise.

The breeder - if they were any good - should have provided you with a detailed breakdown of the first six months of puppy raising including the milestones you should hit etc etc.

Contact them.

We got a 12 week old mini Aussie doodle (Slightly smaller than a cockapoo) and i started walking her for about 20 mins on the lead, once a day, round the block and built up from there. We also have a 9 year old mini poodle and she is still very active.
The puppy is now 8 months old and she will easily be out for an hour. I take 20 mins to walk to the woods then they come off the lead for 20-30 mins in the woods and then a 20 min on the lead walk back and the breeder said that's good. the vet told me one hour on the lead is too long for a small breed dog. but breaking it up between on and off the lead is fine.
Hope it helps a bit but also agree to discuss with the breeder or the vet.

Pretty sure it’s like a minute a week. So 15 minutes

5 mins per month of age is usually what a vet would suggest

5 minutes per month of age is the recommended, but that is a walk on paths etc. Your pup can run about on grassy soft ground for a bit longer, never to soon to start training recall and other good behaviours. As Cockapoos are a mix of 2 working breeds they need more brain work, so break up walks with some short training sessions (sit, stand etc) with lots of rewards. My biggest mistake with my Cockapoo was throwing a ball for her as she got obsessed. We do a lot of scent work/sports now and she is a much calmer loving dog and she never fails to amaze me as to how clever she is. Enjoy your puppy.

Two fifteen minute walks. You can’t just walk a puppy for a long time. Their pads need time to slowly toughen up over time and their little legs need to build up their strength. Little and often in the best way to go. You can harm them by taking for long walks.
