What should we name our cat?

Hi there! What do you think we should name our new cat?

We have adopted her and will be bringing her home in a few days. She is currently in foster, but on meeting her she was a confident little thing. Very gentle and affectionate, inquisitive and a little cheeky!

Sadly she was rescued from a situation that had got out of hand. She was unspayed and had kittens when she was still a kitten herself. She has done a fantastic job at raising them, and all of her kittens have now been rehomed. She is resilient and loving, with a streak of sass!

The names we are considering are:

Gwen
Daphne
Mavis
Josephine (Josie)

Which is your favourite, or do you have any other suggestions?

@SoScarletItWas This post made me laugh! Our old dog was called Humphrey, but more commonly referred to as Mr. Pigglesworth (amongst various other ridiculous nick names) at home.

I'm already envisioning using Gwennie, as I agree with the whole 2 syllable thing.

I'm looking forward to sharing my home with an animal who gives zero sh**s. Having grown up with cats, I know that it's often their way or the high way! Haha.

The Egyptian cat goddess is Bastet.
