Split cats up, doable?

So I have 3 indoor cats
A 11yrs Male had serious bladder blockage about 6 years ago, been fine since though. B 12 yrs Male has some separation issues, think he left his mum too early.
C 13 yrs Female more nervy of the trio though occasionally wants a fuss, not a lap cat.
All 3 occasionally play fight but don't sleep closely or seem to be together much at all, just generally live together quite well.
Now DD wants to take the youngest to leave be with her, he will get more attention as I'm here by myself and her and her bf will be around more due to shifts ect.
What I'm worried about is causing any of the three any stress either by moving or losing one of their own, More so the youngest as stress could make him ill again but wouldn't be alone so much as now. (Work f/t)
it's only 20 mins away so the journeys not so bad and I can have him back anytime.
Any thoughts?

so he would be an indoor only cat.

do young people not go out in the evenings or at the weekend and socialise ? with family and / or friends.
despite working shifts.

He would be yes, like he is now. Tbh my dd and her bf are not party animals at all, obviously do go out occasionally just not regularly.

If the cat has never had an another issue with blockages in six years I wouldn't be too concerned about him in that respect, but he may not be happy being taken away and turned into an only cat.

There was a thread here recently where two cats were split up after a break up and the remaining cat was utterly miserable on his own.

I have three cats, one was my partners parents cat. He was removed from 2 others and settled really well with us. We also took in a cat from a lady who could no longer look after him. She visited him a couple of times but he soon 'forgot' who she was and wouldn't go to her when called. I don't think cats have the same sort of memory like dogs do perhaps.

Think of the cats needs not your daughters. let her get another cat.
