Oh thanks. Sounds like he should have got a Lifetime Achievment Award too.

NorthernLurker · 09/03/2008 22:36

I liked the beagle best!

NorthernLurker · 09/03/2008 22:37

Oh and the Friends for Life bit - i howled! Dh thinks I'm mad - so i told him that Claire B said he had a heart of stone -soon shut him up!

Piffle · 09/03/2008 22:38

oh yes was so pleased to see whole bbc team blubbing too!

NorthernLurker · 09/03/2008 22:39

Well I couldn't see very well - was crying too much and trying to b/feed dd3 at the same time - but it was reassuring nonetheless!

Philippe the Giant Schnauzer is my dog's grandfather , am very chuffed today - she kept going up to the TV screen when he was on

He deserved it - was definitely the best there

The American Cocker is a 'proper' gundog actually - it's just when they're tarted up like that you can't imagine it....

Well I liked the little Chihuahua. So cute. I want one, I could take it everywhere with me The Schnauzer was nice, but out of the two, I would have given BIS to the Samoyed. She looked like a fluffy smiley cloud. Yes, that Wheaten's coat did look very strokeable, it looked all shimmery gold when he was doing his stuff round the ring.

We had a Cocker when I was a child. He was completely stark raving bonkers.

Disappointed not to see a Lab or Goldie (I have one of each) in the final.

I am the proud owner of a Blue Roan English cocker spaniel named Alfie. He is from show stock and such a darling. If its a cocker you want take a look at cockers online website, its full of owners who are so passionate about this breed and are all lovely people.

I wanted the Beagle to win. DH and I often complain that Border Collies never get best in group. They are great dogs, we had 2
