Feeding my cats - how much?

Hi!
We are going away and have a local 15 year old popping in twice a day to put dried food and water out for our two cats. What is a fair amount to pay?
Thank you.

Watching with interest as I was just going to post the exact same message. I have another person (18) who normally comes in and feeds the cat, and she charges £5 a visit which I think is quite a lot for pouring food into a bowl and she only lives in the next road, but the younger girl I'm using (13) is only next door.

We pay a 13yo family friend £10 a night to do this. She does also clean the litter trays though.

it is a good earner for her and is cheaper than a cattery for us so it’s win win. She lives a few minutes walk away and has her dad as backup.

The £10 we pay covers a morning and an evening visit.

I was thinking £5. Do you really think this is too much for a 15 year old? I am definitely not paying £10!

I think £5 just to pop next door and feed dry food is quite a lot x 2 a day. But seems maybe I'm wrong judging by others' comments. I think I'm just going to pay a lump sum at the end of the 5 days. Maybe £35-£40 which I think is quite a lot for a 13 year old?
