Basically a lady came to see the rabbits I was rehoming.

She has now emailed me and said she cant have them till mid march on the advise of the vet who said they are too little to go outside, fair enough BUT...

they are 6 months old,

she is going to be keeping them in a GARAGE not just in the garden,

the hutch has an area completely boxed in and i have masses of hay for her.

I think that the rabbits will eb fine in the garage, in a hutch, with the sleeping compartment full of warm hay.

What do you think?

You could be right, but we were told what your lady's vet said - to keep our rabbits in the house until the weather is warmer, then introduce them gradually to living outside. That included the shed - she said suddenly leaving them in a cold place overnight without acclimatising them could finish them off.

don't they have to be 8 WEEKS ebfore they can be rehomed (outside or in) rather than 8 MONTHS?!

Although its only a nother 2 weeks until mid march really

Rabbits are apparenyly classed as an 'exotic animal' by vets as they're so difficult to look after. (Someone in a rabbit sanctuary told me - don't know if it's true.)

it is too much. I will never get one again!

Can you manage for a couple more weeks? where are yours housed?
