She's only about 3 months old and was the runt of the litter, she has been small and scrawny since. She is housed with her sister who looks fine.
She was fine when I fed her last night, but this morning she seems to be dragging her back legs behind her and looks even thine she's not wheeping either this morning.
I can't get her in to the vets until 5.50 this evening.

Any ideas what might be wrong with her our what the future holds

That's grest news! I hope she keeps on getting better. It's amazing that such a dramatic symptom can be produced so quickly from a dietary problem. It must be that some GPs can't absorb nutrients as well as others?

It's really good to have heard about all this in case our GPs come down with something similar.

Oh, got that a bit wrong: I misread your post as saying that a calcium injection had brought the iprovement, but in fact it was the anti-inflam. Did the vet think a calcium deficiency was the cause? I wonder if our GPs get much calcium.

She's had her calcium injection this morning by another vet on duty. He's only given her 1/3 chance of getting better her problem has become acute. I've got to keep her separated from her sister to try and maximise her recovery.
He said there's no muscle round her legs and she is just bone The movement that we're seeing is her adjusting and compensating for the the lack of ability to walk properly. Said she is almost throwing her self forward with her pelvis.
She is due to have another anti-inflam injection on Monday providing she doesn't go downhill, if she does, I've got to take her in and go from there.
Guess I just hope she perks up and tries to get strong again.

At least you are doing all you possibly can for her.
