lol, at cartoon, I posted that one the other week, has us in fits every time.

really clever.

EniDeepMidwinter · 17/12/2007 10:54

god i have no idea

and I dont care

but then I dotn really like my cat

Iota · 17/12/2007 10:55

recent sleeping places of choice for my cat:

beds (currently on the one in the spare room)

dining chairs (lots of bits hanging over the edge of the seat)

ds1's desk chair

the floor by the airing cupboard (warm pipe under?)

on the stairs, ready to scram you when you step over him

PirateInaPeartree · 17/12/2007 10:57

why don't you like your cat?

I am not overly keen on ours, and I consider myself a huge animal lover. She isn't friendly at all.

WigWamBam · 17/12/2007 10:58

Ours is in.

Usually with her nose frying on the radiator, or under the duvet shoving dh and I to the very edges of the bed.

She doesn't do cold. Smart cat!

NomDePlume · 17/12/2007 10:58

Gimmer is already a fat b*stard, not feeding any more than usual

PirateInaPeartree · 17/12/2007 11:05

I could see the pain etched in our cats face, as she fried her anus on the radiator last night.

yet did not move her backside only rotated the paws off radiator, onto a magazine on radiator.

NomDePlume · 17/12/2007 11:06

I heart my cats, they are ace. Gimmer is so ambivalent, I like that. He is very choosy. Kitten is a complete tart and will love anyone

our cat occasionally moves across my field of vision

thast it

she is very forgiving of the dds though for which I am grateful

cats just leave me cold

I used to like them now can't be doing with them

they are just so...nothingy and people talk about them as though they have feeilgns etc, they so don't, they dont love you or care its all a pose

CremolaFirCone · 17/12/2007 11:13

our 3 have different strategies.
1 burrows under dd's duvet and makes a nest
2 sits atop dvd player as it is warm and has a view of cat flap
3 has made a nest among pressies under tree(all ripped now- sigh)

only go outside for peeing.

yes
who would have one of those bald critters

XmasBun · 17/12/2007 11:17

Cat flap. She goes out for a prowl then comes in and sleeps on our faces.

XmasBun · 17/12/2007 11:17

Am testing a temporary name btw, not new.

Ours stays in at night now as he is old and deaf. He sleeps on the settee during the night and will wake us up for company whilst eating and then wake us about six times whilst he makes his mind up if he wants to get his skinny little paws cold by going out to wee. He then wakes all the neighbours up demanding to be let back in!

nutcracker · 17/12/2007 15:09

Mine stays out most nights. I can't see why they should be kept in if they don't want to be.

nutcracker · 17/12/2007 15:10

Does anyone else not allow their cat upstairs ?? I don't.

MellowChristmasEveryone · 17/12/2007 15:55

My parents do. Their cat sleeps on their bed on a little silk blanket [spoilt cat emoticon]

I worry about flea tbh, even when I flea them.

deckthehallswithFEETofTIGERs · 17/12/2007 16:01

our moggy comes and goes as he pleases, but these days what mainly pleases is dd's bed.

He is in advanced pussycat middle age, getting cantankerous, has low slung belly and sleeps a lot (even for a cat)
