Ferrets make excellent pets, so long as you accept the fact that they smell! Its not a 'dirty' smell, but a very distinct 'ferrety' smell. It gets everywhere and sticks around for a while. I used to have normal clothes and ferret clothes.

They can live indoors or out, are dead easy to house train, are extremely friendly (so long as you handle them) They so much fun. They race around, get into all the cupboards, play fight, you can take them for walks, they curl up on you and fall asleep, but mostly they just love causing mischief.

Can you tell I love ferrets?

Aww, they do sound like fun but I think the smell would put me off having one. I can just about accept living with the 'doggy' smell. Yes, I must get DH to upload some phots on here. I am hopeless with anything like that.
