Help! Dog become barky and overprotective since having baby

We've a lovely pointer who is 1.5 years, and a 3 month old baby. The dog has taken to the baby better than we could have hoped for, but recently she's started to become embarrassingly barky when strangers either knock on the door, or walk past our 'space' outside, meaning wherever we're sitting. She's fine when we're just out walking as usual though. This is now happening whether the baby is with us or not.

Any ideas of how to make her less defensive? She used to be really good with everyone!

oh bless her ,shes protecting the puppy !, my parents male lab took it on his self to do this when my son was born , he only did it for a little while though . Does she stop barking when youve answered the door and the person has left ? she might just be a bit stressed out about the changes with a new baby around ,has her routine changed ? My pointer gets quite agitated if his morning routine gets mucked about

Our 2 year old dog changed completely when the baby arrived. He feels like he has to protect the entire neighborhood. Our dog trainer says to keep reinforcing that you are the pack leader so they feel comfortable that you are in charge and nothing will happen. I must say it hasn't really worked for us, we just tend to strictly say no alot. I'll watch what the other dogsperts say.

Thanks for the advice. Think you're right, Rislip - that she thinks her position in the 'pack' has changed. Will try dogpages too
