My neighbour has/had a cat.

It got fleas because she didnt flea treat it and let it out.

Neighbour fumigated house about 3 months ago and since then im almost certain she hasnt let the cat back in.

Its always outside meowing. I give it some treats and stuff but its getting cold now and sleeping in a dustbin.

Shall i call rspca Sad

Keep it. But that's just me.

Poor cat! I agree, keep it. She will never care enough to know by the sounds of it

Anordinarymum · 11/10/2020 00:32

I would certainly feed it. If it is outside every night then i would consider adopting it. Just make sure they definitely do not want it.

I have my own cat who is an indoor cat. Not sure he would appreciate another cat Confused

They will probably hiss at each other for a while but probably get used to each other. Maybe try him in one night and see what happens!

Don't just take someone else's cat - that's terrible advice - find out for sure if it's being locked outside and then speak to an animal rescue group to see if they can help. Or speak to the neighbour and see if they'll sign it over to you.

Do you have a garden? There's tips and advice on how to build easy feral cat shelters on there for the time being.

You can't just take someone's cat! I hate it when that's peddled out as "advice" on here.

There's nothing wrong with an outdoor cat as long as it has food and shelter, but it sounds like this cat doesn't even have that. Can you speak to your neighbour and ask?
