Just that really. I think my friend thinks I'm a bit mental but we've always done it

Of course. In fact, we take DDog to the shop and let her pick out her own. She even has her own stocking.

I received a card today from my mother addressed to the cat.

My dog's stocking was a gift from my mother. Xmas Smile

My SIL was unable to find anywhere that would let her keep her beloved cat when she had to move 2 years ago. She asked us to take the cat as we had lost our our lovely old boy not long before. SIL still sends birthday and Christmas gifts to DCat. I've just posted a gift to her and one for her new cat as she is now in HA housing which allows her to have a cat. Very very grateful that she decided not to ask for her original cat back as we adore her. Absolutely will be buying our own DCat a gift. Probably Dreamies as she is obsessed with them.

Yes, my puppy so far has a fair few presents wrapped under the tree. He also has an advent calendar!

We don't, but they are named on presents as the giver at least once per dog! They are usually very thoughtful gift givers.

Not really. Haribo is nearly 6 months old and hasn't been out yet so I've bought him a harness and lead for when I decide he can go out. I've also bought a turkey flavour cat food treat.

Yes. DDog has a new toy and a new collar. She might be wearing her new collar already because she just couldn’t wait!

Yes. But this year our lovely cat had to be put down on the Wednesday before Christmas. She has a blood clot go from her heart to her back and her back legs became paralysed. She was only 5 and a half. Her new feeding bowls and cat treats are still in my wardrobe😭
