We've recently had our house fumigated (at £180!) But with the cost of informed etc, it's worth it. Pest control guy said major increase of flea infestations this year because of 2 very warm summers. Good luck!

That was meant to say indorex... 😑

Ok, fee people suggested salt so I've covered carpet in that going to leave a few days and Hoover again, hopefully something different as they apparently get immune to the same things ?

I'm having the same problem, I have been de fleeing my cat and spraying / hoovering the house constantly. It's costing my a fortune but they just won't go!?
Last resort is the vets to see if they can help I'm at my whits ends! We are about to move house next week and I can't bring the fleas with me 😂

Well at the moment the salt seems to be working I've left it 48 hour's and then hoovered , sprayed with indorex and Hoovered again, gonna keep putting salt down for a week and see how it goes? All my vet did was prescribed there flea treatment which costs £10 a month and told me to keep spraying and hoovering with there RIP flea spray I did this for a few months but still kept coming back , so swapped to indorex but still the same , I'm hoping the salt will work 🤞

Every time you hoover, you are prompting the buggers to hatch out of the chrysalis stage. This is the only stage of the life cycle that the flea treatments can't kill. They hide in gaps in sofas, beds, between the wall and carpet etc. Then when the feel the vibration of someone walking by, or a hoover, they hatch and look for an animal to jump on to. You need to spray thoroughly everywhere and leave the room as it is, (I would move your DD out temporarily) then go back in after a couple of weeks and hoover. Then chuck the hoover bag out- really important as it may contain more eggs/chrysalis. Repeat if necessary.
Other than that a fumigation may be your only option.

We did salt which helped a little but also rusted a lot of things I hadn't thought about like the hoover!
We had council in (privately owned house) and they sprayed house for £60. Think it was left a week, 10 days and then hoovered. Really was the only thing that worked.
