It is time for the big toilet bowl in the shy time

Blandmum · 27/06/2007 20:34

PinkTulips · 27/06/2007 20:43

my goldfish is 6 years old and does this occasionally.

clean his tank thouroughly and give him a feed, always revives my fella. there are drops you can get too but my fish has never needed them as the good cleaning out always sorts him

Thanka Aloha!

Well its a sad day

I have to report that Golidilocks died at 14.50 today and was buried in Nannas garden surrounded by all her human family.Chief mourners were dd1 and my Nanna who both wailed
The post mortum revelaed dd2 shouldn't be left alone with a dead golifish.

I had to bury our blackbird chick yesterday MrsWho. I'm there with you sharing the grief.

MrsWho · 27/06/2007 22:30

Had to tell dd2 as she came out of school as she was screaming to why we weren't going home and then when we went for dd1 I got called to see dd1s teacher so dd2 'broke' the news "The Fish is DEAD" so dd1 wobbled a bit then asked me and I said it had diedthis afternoon so she wailed

Oh dear. I suppose dealing with the death of a pet is a useful life lesson. I remember clearly the day our dog was put down. Was the first time I ever saw my Dad cry. Part of life's rich tapestry etc.

Oh MrsWho, just seen you're a Rainbow leader. Me too.

Did either of you do Rainbow Day on saturday?

We had lots of fun at Petty-Pool at our Winnie the pooh picnic

chatee · 27/06/2007 22:47

well, mrs who we can have our own meet up at next years county training day...there is a creche provided on the saturday[otherwise i would not be able to attend]and both my dc really enjoyed their time in the creche...dd thinks she is missing out on babysitters/creche experiences..weird how they think isn't it!!
she says to me "it's not fair ...xxx goes to xxxcreche whilst her mummy goes to xxxx"yes darling but i chose to work part time so i could spend time with you!!! ungrateful or what!!

no, wasn't anywhere exciting on saturday...went to watch a local carnival

MrsWho · 27/06/2007 22:51

No but we had our trip on Sunday, with the nearest Rainbow troup and as it poured down we spent a lot of the day in the soft play with 25 noisy Rainbows!
