My lab has very sensitive stomach, and only has 1 feed a day on Dr John Gold, if she is fed anything other than that, and especially anything that contains flakes like corn flakes, she passes looses poos and soils the floor. We have learned from experience!

That said, given half a chance, she would eat anything at all, but we restrict her diet as we do not want her to get fat. she is 3 1/2 and is very slim

Enjoy your lab, they are wonderful.
I lurrrrrrrrrrve mine x

Mine eats James Wellbeloved lamb and rice or fish and rice, he is 10 months old and a complete doggy dustbin, with the unspeakable habit of hoovering up the other dog's poo before it hits the floor! yeeeuch! if we can stop him eating rubbish and sh*t he is ok ish, but has always been prone to the runny/moussey poo. I think it is a choccy lab thing tho, my vet says they can grow out of it.

My 3 yr old has Hills Science Diet dry food which suits him really well. I give him the "lite" version as like a lot of Labs he does struggle with his waistline and not for want of exercise. This keeps him in good shape. Anything else seems to give him the runny tummy.

Labs are THE best dogs in the world I love him. I am hoping to get another puppy in the next few months. Can't wait!

I've fed Chappie complete food to my dogs since it was launched.
My Springer has got a sensitive stomach and no food has suited him better.
I switched him over gradually when we rescued him and he has never looked back.
It is also a good value buy as it is a lot cheaper than other foods on the market

For Labradors in general:
Cheapest large bag of dry food on offer in Asda or Tescos.

Any change in diet may give them an upset stomach for a day or so til they get used to it. If things are really bad, rice and chicken is pretty bland and helps to stop any upsets.

For chocolate labradors - the proportions of milk and cocoa in their diet depend on what type of chocolate you wish them to produce
