He is so big and fluffy and full of clumps of fur. There's too many to cut or brush out. Should i get him done proffesionaly?

Get him shaved and then hide for a few weeks . Seriously a professional grooming/shaving is about all you can do now. Like the new name btw.a

Probably best to send him to a professional, then it will be easier to maintain.
A de-matting comb might help.
It 'slices' matts and knots without harming the skin

He's so laid back so he wouldn't be a problem with a proffesional. Had a problem with fleas too a while back. He aint as mingin as am making out you know

Big, fluffy and laidback - he sounds lovely - what kind of cat is he?

IcingOnTheCake · 18/04/2007 16:24

He's a mixture, he's got a bit of siemese in him. He is georgeous though with a big fluffy tale.

agree with alipiggie. We had to do this with out car, when she got to old to look after herself....she also wouldn't let us brush her.

pirategirl · 18/04/2007 23:50

Just been sitting here cutting the clumps out of my car. i brush her reg, but cant deal with th eones that appear, then get bigger over time.

she hates it, but outs up with it on occasion, but only sitting on my lap when i am on pc.

I do it kind of sneakily, pretending to pet her, but feeling for lumps.

gawd!

the combs are good fun, but usually end up with me being scratched to bits
