DD wants a pet for her birthday. I think we should get either a rabbit or a GP. We already have a cat.

Which is easiest to look after?

Which is more suitable for her and her db aged 3?

Opinions required please

OK, on the pro rabbit side again... as I said, I had lots of rabbits (even bred them when I got a little older, about 10 years old) so I have had loads of them. They never cost me anything in vets bills!! I can't understand why people think they are so expensive. Maggots eating it's bum?!! that must be caused by horrific neglect by the owners, surely. Not cleaning out their hutch or something? Mine were healthy, ate a variety of foods, very tame and cuddly and intelligent - were even house trained to poo in a kitty litter box!
