Oh my goodness she is adorable

As for sleeping through the night, she is very young so I would say you have a while left yet. Its a good reason to leave them with mum until at least 8 weeks, some puppies are still very much relying on their mum at 6 weeks. Probably not what you wanted to hear but Its a sore point with me. I just feel breeders are so eager to get them off their hands Try the radio on low near her bed. Also a t shirt or something that belongs to you or your dh who ever she cuddles most!

Awwww bless, she will see cat as a litter mate and as your cat is so young they will probably grow up really well together although I kind of have this image of either the dog thinking its a cat or the cat thinking its a dog

Yes go to her if you want to but treat it like yuo would a young child who gets up a lot at night. Leave her for as long as you can, don't talk to her when you go in, let her out for a wee, put her straight back to bed. Try standing near the cage with the lights out so she knows you are there and then slowly move further away till you are out of the room.

I spent a few nights actually on the kitchen floor!!

Pink collar sounds great. Maisie has a pink leather collar but she went in the river and the colour run, turning her white chest and nexk bright pink

Yes to the shaking, excitement, nervous, cold, standing on a nerve can all make them shake. Excitement is probably the main reason as puppies get excited over everything lol

Your Dh sounds like he is going to spoil her rotten

What did you call her?

And people think staffies are such macho dogs

The exact reason why we didn't keep one of the puupies maisie had. Pregnant with #5 so will be up in the night soon enough

I would say try to get off the egg and the milk by the time she is 8 weeks. Staffs are very likely to put on too much weight and they hide it well until its too late and they are obese!!
Good complete biscuit meal should be all she needs and to be honest she is likely to end up a fussy eater as normal dog food will be turned down eventually and she will expect eggs and milk etc... all the time.

The door banging is sooooo typical of staffies and mine do it if I shut the kitchen door during the day. Maisie has a huge head and I am sure she could go through the door if she really wanted to

Ahhhh, she sounds like she is starting to setlle

Peoples reactions still get me wound up but have found when we go for walks in the park most peole are very staffie loving. It tends to be people who are not very dog loving that have these notions that they are not a nice breed.
