Knowing how inspired you all are thought we'd ask for some suggestions for names for new chocolate labrador puppy (a boy!) will grow up to be quite big we think... names in the frame at the moment are hector and revel.

Any other ideas?

I like Smartie - just the right name for a wee chocolate sweetie!

I heard an item on the radio that said that Screaming Lord Such had a cat called astrophy as in Catastrophy - thought it was great. DH says that if he ever manages to persuade me to get a dog he'll call it Matic as in Dogmatic.

I've gone off on a chocolate/coffee tangent...

Cadbury
Thornton
Bendick

Cocoa
Mocha
Bean
Pod

OK... for some reason, dd1 has started calling him Archie and it kind of fits in a scottish pink kilt wearing sort of inventor ish way! Obviously I have to ration Balamory in future! DH is happy and atleast we can stop calling him Puppy! which is great although dd2 can say puppy but not archie, so I think to her he'll be puppy a while yet. I promise I will post a pic, but it is honestly like having a new baby in the house, timing of feeds and putting him out to do his thing. And the visitors.....!
