What fish tanks has everyone got?

We have decided to get a new tank for the new house, as mine is leaking. I can spend about £150 and its needs to be about 4ft long. What has everyone else got and how much was it??

Oh, Sparkly! You should be changing 20% of the water at least once a fortnight.

I bought 45quids worth of tropical fish (v small ones) and on average 1 a day died I have 4 left. God knows what I did wrong. It's horrid, I felt so bad

I read up loads about keeping fish before I bought ours. Glad I did - it is more about keeping the water quality spot on than remembering to feed the fish even!
Fishies dying most likely due ammonia or nitrite build up - if the filter is new and not mature - bacteria that deal with the fish waste have to build up and this takes time.
