Our older GP died last week. We are left with a 2.5 year old GP which we got when the other GP's brother died.
I really don't want to get another one, but i am worried about him being lonely. He is in the run out in the garden all through the day and we bring him to the house in the evening where he gets attention.

Not sure what is the best thing to do for him.

I think give as much attention as possible tbh.

We had a pair & one died & we didn´t get another, but brought the remaining one in a lot more & when it was outside put her near the rabbits so she could sort of have company.

If you get another, do you keep on replacing, that´s the problem.

I just don't want to get into that cycle Diddl, we have already done it once. We bring him in in the evening and he is getting a lot of attention atm.

Yes that was it for us.

With our first pair, I think they were about 6 when the first one died so it seemed silly to get a youngster knowing that the older one probably didn´t have long left.

It lived the best part of a year on it´s own.

We know have a pair from the same litter that we got at a few months old & tbh when one dies, we´re not intending to replace, so will have a lone one.

We also have a lone rabbit as the female died at Easter.

TBH, I think he prefers the peace of being alone!
