Help!
Our 12 year old female has previous history of anti social toilet habits. In our previous house she used the attached garage as her own personal littertray and seems to prefer pooing on paths, the neighbour's drive wayetc as opposed to burying the stuff in the garden.
This morning i had a visit from our new neighbour over the road. Whilst we were away for a few days she took a fancy to going over there (they have a cat of their own). Now they have found cat poo near their garage and most disturbing she seems to have gone in their cat flap and crapped in their lounge.
I've reached the point where i've considered having her put down. It seems awful but can't see any alternative.
Any similar pet experiences and thier outcomes, let me know. Big thanks.

My cat has ibs and when he needs to go, he needs to go now, be it in the litter tray, on the floor, in the bath.....

I would never consider having him pts. Or re-homing him. He is my responsibility, shit and all.

His condition is managed, to a point by feeding him food that does not upset his tummy (this for him is Science Plan or fresh meat and fish, wet food makes him worse) However being a cat he is a scavenger, so still gets hold of things he shouldn't have and still squits in the house.

You need to get your cat checked by the vets and offer to pay for a magnetic cat flap for your neighbours, which will prevent your cat getting into their house.

More litter trays will help too. We have two, one upstairs and one downstairs and ensure they are always spotless. My cat won't use his if it already has a poo in.
