No idea if this will get anywhere, but it's gathering speed, so clearly lots of people feel, as I do, that we have to at least try to halt this shitshow.

Just had a look, it's over 98,000 now.

Well you can't really judge on that.

People that are happy with the government, or even apathetic won't sign that petition.

No one's saying they will. And it doesn't mean to say change will happen, either. But it at least gives those who have seen the petition (which has been picked up in the media, btw) and are appalled by what's happened this week a chance to register their discontent. Considering most of the population have had zero say over any of this shitshow, personally I think that matters.

Signed. The whole thing is economic idiocy. The policies are said to be a love letter to the City but looking at the pound and gilts it doesnt seem they are too enamoured by it either.

Calling an immediate GE will result in MORE chaos as the MPs will piss off for months touring on the bloody party bus campaigning when then need to knuckle down.

Labour are not in good shape and there is no guarantee they would win so it could be utterly pointless. I will not vote for Labour whilst they promote men as women.
