I do not know why the petition for De Wahls has been withdrawn. Can anybody explain?

Definitely would have signed, but too late apparently... Hope the RA reverses this stupid decision quickly. Is this nonsense a worldwide phenomenon, or is it just the UK that's been taken over by flat-earthers?

I have been told by iPetitions that the petition was closed by the creator. The creator is listed as Fi Yamamoto.

@ArtemesiaK It's depressingly global. But the fightback is growing.

I have preordered a flower from her website to show solidarity. I hope she sues the RA, they apologise, and she benefits from the publicity which the activists hoped would harm her.

I've seen so much support for Jess on social media. It's really heartening. And it reminded me to buy something from her shop too
But yes, the RA can't get away with this shit. I hope she sues them too.

Is there a petition also calling for the removal of the man who was a self confessed child abuser?

I don't know if the petition was part of what helped shape their thinking, but the RA has apologised to JdW and is talking to her about restocking her work, they'll probably have to get in a queue as the publicity has caused a marked uptick in her sales.

That's great, but I still hope she sues and people cancel their memberships. At the moment the male activists are shouting loudly and it would be good if women have a say.

That way other organisations may think before having a knee here reaction to angry males!
