Scottish Parliament petition on accurately recording the sex of people charged or convicted of rape or attempted rape

We thought this might be of interest to women on this board, based on the response to a recent news article on this issue which sparked this thread:

We have lodged a petition in the Scottish Parliament, which was published today, calling on the Scottish Parliament to urge the Scottish Government to require Police Scotland, the Crown Office and the Scottish Court Service to accurately record the sex of people charged or convicted of rape or attempted rape.

We are now collecting signatures for our petition. If you would like to sign, the link is below. Signatures will be collected for four weeks, until 5 July.

Bumping! Anymore for anymore?

This closes tomorrow so bumping for last minute visibility! Over 11,000 signatures so far!

One of the women behind this just said on twitter - 250 more signatures will makes it the third highest number out of the petitions that parliament will consider.

I’ve been getting this out here to everyone I know , here and aboard let’s keep it going for a last push.
