I know people get fed up of petitions, but please consider signing and sharing this. We need about 1500 more signatures to hit the 10000 target for a government response.

I have heart failure after having cancer treatment, and it took months to get my HF diagnosis because of delays in testing. My cancer was diagnosed on the two week pathway but what I have now is actually more serious (my cancer didn't spread), but took longer to be diagnosed.

I've name changed for this but I've been around for years.

I'm overwhelmed by all the messages here, and thank you to everyone who shared their personal experiences. Huge, massive, enormous thank you to everyone who signed the petition.

@AlbertCampion I wish you all the best with your treatment. I had mine ten years ago, and I made it through pregnancy since then which my consultant said is a very positive sign. I was diagnosed with HF when I was barely symptomatic, but all my symptoms had been put down to vitamin deficiencies, stress, etc. If I can pass on any advice, it's to have the possibility of HF in the back of your head if you start getting palpitations and fatigue.

The charity Pumping Marvellous is dedicated to heart failure, and they have a wonderful Facebook support group that is open to those with HF and their families. I believe it's Pumping Marvellous who started the petition.

The petition is now up to 9582 signatures which is amazing!
