Disney plus petition

Hi!
Disney plus was the one streaming service I could put on my kid’s device and not worry about them being traumatized. But now they added Family Guy. If you’ve never seen it family guy is absolutely FULL of rape jokes. It has scenes with girls tied and gagged and an old pervert grandpa is like “jackpot” there is a pedophile character that stalks kids, many racist jokes, explicit jokes about prostitution, drug abuse, child and spousal abuse and more. I’m no prude but this is extreme stuff. Please sign my petition to get it off Disney plus! It belongs on an adult-oriented service.

If you don't want your children to watch it then use the age rating settings which would stop small children watching it

They've added loads of adult content as they've incorporated the Star channel which is Fox content. They've also added extremely simple to set up parental controls which prompted us as soon as Star was added to define the age of each profile user and set up a PIN for access.

There is no need for this petition, just use the parental controls.

Surely this is down to parents to police?

Any application my child has access to is locked down by me and policed by me.

They simply provide a service. Your role as parent is to ensure that it is appropriate for the children.

Now, my just about adult, DC subscribe to Disney Plus, primarily for Star Wars. They are absolutely thrilled that they've started adding more adult stuff, so I'd guess it's all good business for them.

There are functions included to help you manage what DC watch and that is your job, not Disney's.

As above. Use the parental controls. As with anything on the internet or via dvd etc it's up to you as a parent to ensure your children watch age appropriate material. It's extremely simple.

Before you even access star you have to enter your Disney plus password.
If you haven't got parental controls then set them.
Why make such a big deal of it 🙄

It's on star through the Disney plus app. You have to sign in to it separately and it has a choice of above 13 years old profile or over. So if its coming up with family guy you must have signed in on an adult profile

I don't know if it's been mentioned but you can set parental controls on the profiles.

To echo what many have said, I guess you haven't activated the very simple to use parental controls that were made specifically by Disney for this purpose?

You do realise family guy is an adult show, its not aimed at kids! Like others have said, its added with the new adult content, just set parental controls.
