LOL at the comments on the actual petition, saw many the same on Facebook regarding women who say they are refusing to give birth alone. And how does one go about refusing exactly? 
As soon as the contractions start I'm sure we'd all bloody refuse to go ahead with it if we could ffs.
Also surely I'm not alone in saying when you're in that much pain trying to push a baby out, that's your only interests in the whole world. I couldn't have gave a damn who was there and who wasn't at the time. In fact I don't think I'd have even noticed I'd DP wasn't there!
