Government Petition available to sign to make legislation to give children more rights to go to the toilet during lessons

This may be of interest to some people. It is a controversial topic but feel it deserves some attention. I often hear of young children having accidents at school because they have been told to wait for the toilet or too worried to ask. This shouldn't happen. See link below.

Really? Wow i've never heard of this being a problem! And I've navigated 5 DC through a 3 tier education system! Surprised if it's so common as to warrant a petition

That's the most bonkers petition yet!! If your school are unnecessarily strict regarding bogging issues then speak to them directly.

DS1 had real difficulties holding on when he was in reception and Y1, primarily due to faecal impaction. A quick word with school was all it took, he was allowed to go when he needed to.

This doesn't need to be enshrined in law, just dealt with in a common sense way.
