Vince Cable has the power to end Letting Agents Fees to tenants which can be as much as £600 (see other thread) before any rent or deposit has been paid.
Generation Rent has a petition on their website asking Vince Cable to add this to the Consumer Rights Bill which is soon to go through Parliament which would end this practice.
