Would any of you be able to spare a moment to sign our petition? One of our more gobby campaigners has been posting about this before and we'd really appreciate it. We're trying to get local inpatient care back for women in our area.

It fills out the story and highlights why its an essential service for women to be near their families, and also why it's sexist to close the women's ward and not the men's.

Do sign, it's so short sighted of them to do this, and it shouldn't be easy for them to do it.

Yes, but in a loving and very accurate way.

Done. My close colleague (we are the only 2 in our department) has bi polar and has spent some time in a MH inpatient unit.
I would hate to think there would come a time she'd need to be hospitalised again, and if so, it would be hours away.
