I need a hand, I had all but convinced myself that it was 'Angus's wedding' but my friend is saying that she is 100% sure that it is 'Angus' Wedding'

Just want to say that this is not needed for anything official (the wedding was a while ago ), just for putting info on tags for a photobook that will be printed off as a gift

Thanks

It's the extra -es sound in Moses - it just doesn't sound right out loud.

But ( getting all pedantic here) Moses is the name so, no matter what it sounds like, you do need to say Moses's.

Otherwise his name's Mose!

BTW - How have we strayed from Angus to Moses?

Just as well I'm unlikely to encounter the problem. Don't know anyone called Moses.

I think it's because of the repition of the -iz sound. It's the Zed what done it.

So with the possessive apostrophe it's Mo-ziz-iz. Perhaps I'm lazy!

To complicate the matter further, if you were going to go for 'Moira and Angus's wedding' then it should be 'Moira's and Angus's wedding'.
