Torchwood = Doctor Who?! What else has made you feel like an idiot?

In spite of being a fairly avid Dr Who fan, I only realised this morning that 'Torchwood' is an anagram of 'Doctor Who' (courtesy of the Guardian TV reviewer - I didn't work it out for myself ). This reminded me of the fact that it took me about 12 years of watching Neighbours to realise that it was an anagram of Erinsborough. And I'm a bloody crossword buff!

So come on, fess up - tell me things that all you clever folk have not realised for years and have made you feel like a fool when you finally 'got' them.

Is it!? I thought it was a Wuthering Heights reference (or is it a WH reference within Dr Who?).

eek! Rusty, did you have to post that link? Brought back all the horror of that episode. Daleks, cybermen, horrible flying things I can cope with, but Victorian gothic gives me the willies!

Yes, she was Gwyneth the psychic maid in The Unquiet Dead - when Gwen turned up in the finale of DW series 4, the Doctor & Rose asked her if she had ancestors in Cardiff, because she looked so much like someone they'd once met there.

Many many years ago i bought some frozen burgers i was with a friend and opened tha packet and pulled out the burgers and said to my friends 'wheres the onions', she still rolls around the floor laughing to this very day............
i mean the packet said beef burgers with onions..........how was i to know the onions werent in a seperate bag inside the packet
