Can you experts please help me with commas in my application?

I have been looking at it for so long now I have confused myself. Should it be -

'I have worked with groups of varying abilities in Key Stage 1 doing literacy, numeracy and science work and guided reading as well as hearing readers individually.'
or

'I have worked with groups of varying abilities in Key Stage 1, doing literacy, numeracy and science work and guided reading, as well as hearing readers individually.'

Gah! I always thought apostrophes were my downfall.
Please help. TIA.

How about:

'I have worked with groups of varying abilities in Key Stage 1 doing literacy, numeracy, science work and guided reading, as well as hearing readers individually.'

I would break it up a bit - too many things listed at once for it to make easy reading wherever the commas are. How about:

'I have worked with groups of varying abilities in Key Stage 1, doing literacy, numeracy, science work and guided reading. In addition I regularly hear readers individually.'

Am having a blank re whether they're should be a comma after "In addition"

Thank you. I have another part with a 'but' and am wondering if that needs a comma too now .

I haven't got enough space to do the in addition bit, though I do like it.

I am applying to train to be a Primary School Teacher . I hope I can get my mind sorted before the interview lol.

I would probably put a comma after "in addition" - I think there is a natural pause there. But then I am only really reliably pedantic when it comes to apostrophes

does it have to be 'science work'? that sounds odd to me but i know nowt of primary.

Yes the work thing seems odd now. The work bit was supposed to refer to the numeracy and the literacy too ie numeracy work, literacy work.... etc....
Will experiment with 'listened to' and see if it will fit.

I would put all talk of literacy in once sentence since reading is part of being literate.

i don't think you need 'work' at all in that case. they'll know you mean 'work', won't they?

Literacy Numeracy*Science Work
*Listening to Individual Readers
*Guided Reading

I love using bullet points, they are clear and allows whoever is using them to skim the application.

I definitely needed a break from it. There is no reason for a comma after the 'but' in my sentence lol.
