We visited a small town once where the local taxi firm had the sign
"Bobs Car's" on its offices and taxis.

@PragmaticWench, I’m always a bit at list on signs where one item is pluralised correctly (“drinks”) but not others (“cake’s”).

I see vehicles from this company regularly and I get irrationally angry every time

Could they think it's correct as it's a contraction of automobiles? Though if it's a word in its own right in the dictionary then you don't do that do you?

@BikeRunSki No, it wasn't a tongue-in-cheek slogan, they're not bright enough for that round here. It was some years ago and I wish I'd kept a copy now. It was one small line in a full page advert.

We passed a van last week that said 'Davis Cleaning supplies & son'.
