Far, far too many apostrophes to qualify plural nouns. dad's, father's, mum's. Nope!

Every single thread relating to driving.

I breaked.
Hit the breaks.
Breaking distance.
Couldn't break in time.

Grrrr. It makes me want to brake things.

I'm seeing so much English mangling on here at the moment.

Words that don't exist: infact, abit, alot, awhile, inbetween written as single words. (I know "awhile" is a word, but it's rarely used correctly.)

Incorrect use of cases: he was rude to my husband and I. The children whom played with the toys (I mean, really?!).

Incorrect conjugation of verbs: I done, I text (as past tense), I shrunk, I seen, etc.

And fucking "should of" everywhere.

I keep seeing incorrect use of the word mortified - 'the children will be mortified when they find out the bikes have been stolen'. I'm pretty sure they won't be mortified.
