No no no.

That would rhyme with bumming.

Fuming which rhymes with consuming.

And thank you for letting me get that out in this dark and forsaken little corner.

A Chester draws was being sold derk cheep on our FB site.

amysmummy12345 · 08/04/2017 07:37

"derk cheep" 😂 sounds like a two bit cowboy film star from the fifties 😁

amysmummy12345 · 08/04/2017 14:57

I've just seen a "chaze longer" for sale 😂 answers on a postcard please....

SapphireStrange · 08/04/2017 15:12

derk cheep sounds like a low-rent porn star to me.

I did Grin at No no no. That would rhyme with bumming.

In defence of 'brought', isn't it part of the West Midlands/Black Country dialect? or is that just my family's mistake

Hushabyelullaby · 11/04/2017 20:06

YY to all these mentioned!

I'm so pleased I've found my people and I'm aloud to mention these awful grammar mistakes. It makes me cringe and really effects me, I wander if people realise there mistake or are just not bothered to insure they don't do it again.

Don't get me started on double negatives either!

VintagePerfumista · 13/04/2017 06:50

They're spelling mistakes, not grammar mistakes.

mrssmith79 · 13/04/2017 07:32

You're all being rediculous

badtime · 16/04/2017 14:14

When I saw the thread title, I almost chocked on my tea.

Dumdedumdedum · 25/04/2017 06:50

When the daughter was a toddler, I was furious about educational toys being sold under the label "Play Skool".
Daughter used also to say she "couldn't be asked" to do something. No idea who she misheard Blush

SaskiaRembrandtWasFramed · 25/04/2017 08:14

Your all far to upset about this, you need to step back and get some rest bite.

theaveragewife · 25/04/2017 08:16

I'm on tender hooks waiting to see how this one turns out.

WhiskyChick · 25/04/2017 08:22

Yesterday on Facebook. Someone selling sequence cushions....

DressageNut · 25/04/2017 08:28

There are a couple of repeat offences on the Style & Beauty threads which regularly irk me...people wondering about what sort of "sandles" they should buy, and, in particular, whether those items should have "heals".

BigGreenOlives · 27/04/2017 12:53

Why is paid being spelled as 'payed' by masses of posters at the moment?

WhiskyChick · 27/04/2017 18:01

Oh yes! Payed! Apparently it's bad form to respond to people to point these things out. I'm aware some people will have problems spelling however I refuse to believe that it as widespread as Facebook seems to suggest

BigGreenOlives · 27/04/2017 22:19

I find it very hard to take advice seriously when there are massive basic grammatical errors. I realise this is my problem and that I should see past these errors but my overwhelming sense is WTF. (All the 'passed' instead of 'past' don't help either). Must put my clothes away in the chest of drawers.

Consideringbeingamom · 24/07/2017 05:06

I keep seeing "discusted" and "discusting" on FB when chavs name and shame each other doing various crimes. Social media brings all the dregs out....

Consideringbeingamom · 24/07/2017 05:07

It does make you fumm Smile
