Where does the apostrophe go?

In the sentence "please write individual guests names against menu choices" could you tell me where I should put the apostrophe on the word 'guests' please.

plural guests, with apostrophe following it to show possession

Because it can be recast to say "the names of individual guests", when you flip it you need to make "guests" possessive: guests'.

Don't be confused by "individual"; it doesn't require singular syntax.

'Each guest's name' works best.

although slightly complicated by the 'individual' suggesting singular, in a way. If it had the word 'each' (each individual guest) then I would put guest's. As it stands I would assume plural and so it would be guests'.

I know it's not the point, but the "individual" isn't really required at all... I'd use "each guest's name against their menu choice" as it makes better sense.

But in the given sentence, it should go after the guests - guests' names

I agree with guests' but would avoid it altogether, for ease:

"Please write the name of the guest against menu choices."

Thank you all so much I really appreciate you replying. We are putting a menu sheet in with our wedding invitations for our guests to indicate which meal they would like to select but the hotel also requires us to tell them the name of the guest making each selection hence not being sure of the correct wording and then where the apostrophe should be.

"Please put your name against your menu choice" or "Please indicate who has chosen what from the menu".

Please initial your menu choice.
