Affect with an A is an Action - 'it affected me'
Effect with an E is an End result 'it had am effect on me'

Doesn't apply for the other meaning of effect as in 'to achieve' ie 'how do we effect change?' but it's the best I can do.

I think the wording is domething like...

Some vitamins contain substances that effect the colour of the urine.

that's affect.

Affect is a verb. Effect is a noun - a result.

Effect can also be a verb but with the meaning 'to effect change'.

So yes, the poster should say affect the colour.
