HELP!! An urgent grammar question -

Please help me decide how to punctuate the following:

...inside his book The Woman in White...

Should the title be in inverted commas, or something else?

...also should you have a space between typed paragraphs? Is this something that varies with preference or is there a hard and fast rule?

General practice is to put titles of works in italics. What are you writing this for? If it is for publication, the publishers should have given you a style sheet for this type of query. If it is study work, spaces between paragraphs are not vital but it needs to be clear where new paragraphs start. You could either do this by leaving a blank line between paragraphs, or by indenting the first line of one

Thank you for your help FA. I was glancing over a colleague's work for her, and some things just didn't look right - but I didn't know officially what the procedure was. We've cracked it now, thanks for your speedy response :)

Mrs Plug. Fluffyanimal is correct but so is the version that you've typed. Italics are not necessary for titles anymore. I prefer the no italics look personally as it's less fussy.
