I mentioned 'sacrilege' earlier, but what I meant to say was 'sacrilegious'.

Not that sacrilege isn't fairly hard, but the similarity in sound to 'religious' is such a trap, especially if they know the meaning and assume that the words are related. It's a bit more obvious that it's a different word when it's 'sacrilege' and they might remember the peculiar ending in that form.

Sarcophagus.
DD was studying the Egyptians last year and came home with, inter alia, sarcophogus as one if her spelling words. I corrected it, and advised her to alert her (smug) teacher.
Teacher apparently looked it up in the dictionary. After the event. Tsk tsk. Xmas Grin
