Should it be 'more easily' or have they got it right? It's on Tesco Lemon Squash.

While unpacking my shopping I noticed:

MUM'S VISIT US!

on the bottom of their mini raisin packs. Now I don't know if I'm seeing horrors wherever I look, or if I'm just suffering from post-raisin stress disorder...

Actually, shouldn't it be "fits on your shelf more easily"?

As for the other one...Sad

Or it could be

Easier to fit on your shelf

I think both correct but in this instance, "more easily" is the more elegant.

I think they're taking a diabolical liberty assuming they know about my shelves. "Look at how squat the bottle is" would make the point nicely, and avoid incursions from Pedantisas.

fits more easily is better.

"Fits" is a verb, so needs an adverb 'easily', rather then the adjective 'easier'.

It's as bad as "I can run fast." Shock
