Is there any Fiesty Princess Partyware out there?

DD1 wants a Princess Party. But I don't like the Disney Princesses or really anything I've seen so far.

I am looking for something a bit more Princess Smartypants, Paperbag Princess, the tough Princess type thing but can't find anything on the party sites.

Any ideas for sites? I want a party kit: invites, tablecloth, plates, cups, bags etc etc.

Does your dd like the Disney princesses?

If so I would make like easier for yourself and go with that.

True Suiledonne very true - I'm going to give it a bit of a try then probably buy scraggy fairy or whatever it's called.

She doesn't really have an opinion on the Disney Princess stuff - she does love Smartypants and Rosamund the tough Princess though so I really hoped I'd find some.

MaamRuby wow yes great idea...I had hoped just to slam down the plastic and have it all delivered though!

So would I take a picture to a printshop and get them to do it? Would they copy a page from a book though?

AppleTreeWick why not start with some free princess invitations - I have used the pirate ones from the following website:

free princess party invites

You could always do a pirates and princesses party to make it a bit more gutsy!

If you don't want to buy a laminator you can whack the laminates under a tea towel and iron them. Bit of an effort, but it saves money ;)

Many thanks for the tips...the print your own invites are great. Not sure I'm up to the whole laminating thing but DH got quite excited and is now trawling through photos for suitable images.

really funky stuff on childrensartparties.co.uk, my dd loved it and a change from disney princesses, even have matching balloons

this site is exactly what I've been looking for - how to make the princess theme a bit more sophisticated for the discerning 7 year old! Thank you so much (and how nice to be able to purchase plates, invitations, cups etc individually rather than in packs of 8!)
