So, chances are it will be raining so we will have to stay indoor. How can I save my house from 20 7yo boys!!

Professional entertainers are the key!!!!!! Seriously.
Try www.partyprojects.co.uk Used them twice and successfully.

Another idea is taking the boys to an indoor play area, but the cost of that can add up.

we did 16 indoors due to pouring rain.....regimented organisation is the key....( that and a LARGE back room...)

I am preparing games and a treasure hunt in the house and lots of food. Still spending hours looking at weather forecasts! It's for tomorrow...

We had a scalextric party for ou son's 6th birthday. We had 3 tracks in total around the lounge and dining room. 2 teams, lots of races and certificates for the winners and the best crashes. We borrowed the extra tracks from nephews!

It worked well but when everone was gone it was so lovely and peaceful! We had 8 boys at the party.

I agree organisation and prepartions' what you need!!

We themed all our games for my daughters party which is in Nov so we were inside too, though not quite as many kids!

There were some boys aswell so we did a pirates and princesses party, with a treasure hunt and some themed party games. We did all the usual oldies like pass the parcel and pin the tail on but everything was themed for pirates and princesses which makes it a bit different and keeps their interest if each game has a potential prize. We used plastic medals which worked much better than i imagined! Also make sure the party is no longer than 1 1/2 to 2 hours!

To be honest the treasure hunt was the best but with so many you'd need to do it in teams. I'd say get them to pick teams from a hat for fairness. We bought a game from Lello and Monkey which meant all I had to do was hide clues it was dead easy.

Hope this helps!

After all that I just read your other post to say it was 14th June! Hope it went ok

One good quiet game that you could play is "Sleeping Lions".

All but one or two players are "lions", and lie down on the floor, eyes closed, as if they were sleeping. The remaining player(s) ("hunters") move about the room attempting to encourage the lions to move. The hunters may not touch the lions, but may move close to them, tell jokes, etc. Any person who moves must stand up and join the hunters.

This can also be used to calm the kids down by having the adult be the hunter and make no attempt to make the lions move. This worked really well in the creche I volunteered in.
