Hi has anyone had or been to a party at willows farm? my lo is going to be 4 and we are thinking about having a party there. I have looked at their website and it sounds good as you get a host to arranges the day. Also are the party bags full of tat would it be advisable to add to?I hate party bags and think that they are expensive and a waste of time but it seems to be expected.

DD's friend had a party there last year. The girls had good fun, lots to do, no getting bored.

I didn't stay so can't give you my opinion of the host or the party but reports were good(from DD). This was for an 8 year old's party but I'm sure it would translate fine for younger ones.

Don't remember the party bags as being particularly good or bad. Ring them up and find out what they'll be putting in that week and judge for yourself if you want to add.

willow farm is one of my dcs favourite places. as weather is so gorgeous we are going there today. lots to do and see. great indoor and outdoor play areas - large too.

havent been to a party there but indoor play area can be veeeeery busy and sometimes difficult to see littlies. id advise to check how party children will be identifiable and adult ratio. door cannot be operated to open by young children, but not too difficult for one to slip out iyswim, due to constant opening of doors, which are wide, due to business of place.

never been to a party there but my kids love Willows, we have annual membership and go there LOADS. There is lots to do and we can waste a day there.

Not been to a party there but have visited lots. The outdoor bit is fab, the indoor bit a nightmare with younger ones imho (I have a 2yo and almost 4yo). Impossible to keep track of them or keep an eye on them.

Do you know which bit the party would be in? If you can avoid the indoor soft play bit I'd go for it.

I don't know if it is too far out of your way, but we recently went to a really good party at Woodside (Slip End, just off M1 jn 10). Really well organised and perfect for younger children. I'd visited before and wasn't bowled over but it was great as a party thing.
