By one much easier - The party shop in Godalming have them for £12.99 - same price you would pay online.

I made one once and it took a couple of days to dry. It was a LOT of effort but it was worth it (it was a moose-shaped one for Canada day). If you're not fussy about the shape you can get them in Tesco superstores for a few pounds.

Oh please tell, how do I make one??

frazzled74 · 26/10/2009 20:11

well after a whole afternoon spent making one, it still hasnt dried and still needs layering up a bit. So, have nipped to local pound shop and bought one for £5.Def not as nice as a homemade one but never mind.

They are £7 in asda as a donkey - i nearly bought one last week then decided perhaps it wasnt right to encourage kids to beat the shit out of a donkey with a stick - in hind sight i over thought it

heavealot · 26/10/2009 21:52

So, anyone, please? How do I make one?

frazzled74 · 26/10/2009 23:59

there is a recipe on e-how, inflate a balloon, cover in papier mache leaving hole at top(to pour sweets into), leave to dry, then decorate. if you google "how to make a pinata" you will find a few websites to go to,but do at least 10 days in advance.
