a party bag BEST case scenario is sweets, with a football keyring( who has keys aged 6?!) if you haev to.

Dd2 was at a party today with a pinata - full of party bag treats. they were each given a party bag to fill with sweeties and other plastic tat. Then they all sat on the floor and shared the stuff out between them.

As dd's friend's mum said - why shoudl I packthe bags when they can do it themselves?

Result is dd2 has 2 sparkly lip glosses but no yoyo's - lots of sharing and swapping.

It was a 6th birthday party.

My 5 year old DS went to a birthday party and got a fake poo in his party bag. It was the best party bag present ever - 7 months later and we are still hiding it in the most disgusting places for each family member to find (fridge, bath etc..)

Mine like books.

We gave out plant pots with sunflower seeds last year.

DS's bestest party bag ever though contained buzz lightyear pants
