i did something similar last year although i did take em bowling first.just wondered if it's acceptable to invite their friends over and let them entertain themselves ie with WII,PLAYSTATION,etc.

I think at that age it's fine, though may be good idea to have something else to make it a bit 'different' to feel bday-ish

Well exactly...i mean what would you put in them anyway???!
I know I should do something birthdayish but can't think of anything....great imagination I have! I've never really been one for doing party games anyway...probably due to my own shyness in a way.Maybe if I just decorate house a bit disco ish...?
