I am getting married in 8 weeks. Fairly cheap do in local hall but thought it would be a nice thought to give all children as a party favour a small activity/book. Any ideas and links please

I got party bags from here www.partypieces.co.uk/?brand=firstbirthdays/category/fb_party%20bags%20and%20presents_party%20bags%2 0and%20presents.htm
recently for DS's 1st birthday, I was delighted with them and with the service from the company. Have a fabulous wedding

If you want an activity just print out loads of colouring pictures from Cbeebies or Nick Junior (Dora, Peppa Pig, Fireman Sam) and get packets of cheap pencils.

If you want to give them a gift then you can't beat The Book People - They have loads of sets of books, the one I've linked to is 20 activity books for £12.99.

Do you want a gift at the end when they leave, like a party bag, or something they can open at the time?
I went to a wedding recently with children there and at each of their seats there was a paper gift bag with a colouring book, sticker book and pens etc. It helped to keep them quiet during the (very boring) speeches.

Wanted something to occupy during the wedding. At their seat when they arrive.
They look good sniffy

What about those magic painting books? Bit of water, paint brush and those books - keeps my DDs quiet for hours and it makes a change from the usual activity books that kids are given to do. They're also cheap too. HTH

What about getting them each a magazine from the newsagents? Each will come with a small toy and normally have some activity pages too. Also, if you buy close to the wedding it will be less likely that they already have it. Could then provide a pot of pens for completing the ativity sections in the magazines.
If the children are very young you could maybe get some of those mini aquadraw mats, they are nice and easy and are re-usable.
