How does this sound for a party? I'm looking at holding it for 3 hours. It's a small farm with exclusive use. Includes tractor ride, animal feed for all the Children, mini ride on tractors and a play area. I like the idea of having a hands off party where everyone can go off and then come back together for some food and cake. Makes it more fun and relaxed as less pressure. Price is very reasonable too! Have you been to or held something similar, has it gone well?

Sounds lovely!! DD went to a similar one around that age at our local open farm, it was certainly a big hit. I always really enjoyed the parties that were a bit different - don’t get me wrong, the kids all still had a ball at the usual soft play/leisure centre type parties but it’s nice to have a bit of variety

That sounds perfect for that age.

I did a farm party for my daughters 5th, beautiful farm with petting & chicken feeding, tracker ride, soft play & fairy garden, most parents dropped off the kids and came back to collect after 2.5 hours, kids all had a great time but there was a lot of flies around the barn where party food was so that stressed me out a bit, apart from that it was fantastic

We did something similar when ours were little, it was great. Just be really particular about handwashing before eating. Have a great party 😀

They’d love that, it sounds fab!

Hi - interested to know how this went as I’m planning something similar for my daughter’s fifth in July. We have invited a handful of families from school to Willows Activity Farm, Herts for day access to the play facilities etc on the farm (with parents) / all meeting up for lunch in the middle.
What tips would you give?
I'm a bit stressed about the catering and whether I should feed Adults as well as kids which makes Schlepping everything over from the car park and storing it all during the morning a bit of a nightmare. We have hired a party pod but I get the impression the fridge provided is not huge. Other idea was just to order lots of delivery pizza and just take drinks- what do you think?
Should I put together an activity schedule for us all to do together or let people join in (or not) organically? TIA
